SOUTHEAST ASIA: Current spot prices for standard MOP are in the range $420-430/mt CFR, while fourth quarter contract prices are $405-410/mt. BPC claims sales for Q1 2011 delivery of more than 100,000 mt at $430/mt for standard and $450/mt for granular. Market players say that sales activity is subdued following the IFA Hanoi conference in early November when many producers said they were sold out for January and receiving a steady flow of orders for February.
