INDIA: As was indicated in earlier Extra Updates, MMTC received offers for about 1.3 million mt today's tender for an unspecified quantity of urea. Firm offers totalled 685-840,000 mt, with sellers' options for a further 360-490,000 mt. The total quantity on offer to be shipped by November 15 was thus 1.33 million mt. The lowest CFR quote was submitted by Transammonia for 50,000 mt at $346.96/mt CFR East Coast India (ECI). The second lowest offer was submitted by Ameropa at $347.73/mt CFR Krishnapatnam/Gangavaram. The highest CFR offer was submitted by Gavilon at $385/mt for Gangavaram.
