Aurubis delivers strong 2009/10 results

GERMAN COPPER producer Aurubis announced a significant increase in pre-tax earnings for 2009/2010 fiscal year (September 1 – October 30) of ?258 million, up from ?73 million the previous year. A strengthening global economy, coupled with high refining charges for copper scrap and rising sulphuric acid price were all cited as key contributors.
