Silvinit starts potash shipments by river again

RUSSIAN POTASH producer JSC Silvinit said Monday that the company has begun the transport of potash by water again. Water navigation from the company’s potash mining operation at Solikamsk in the Upper Kama region of Russia is only possible for five months of the year. During the open navigation season, Silvinit said it can ship up to about 1 million mt of potassium fertilizers and technical salt each year.
