THE NEW Canpotex vessel U-Sea Saskatchewan is to load 58,000 mt of potash this week in Vancouver for deliveries to Thailand and Indonesia. The vessel, which has capacity for 60,000 mt, is the first of nine being built through a joint venture with U-Sea Bulk of Copenhagen, Denmark. Canpotex has more than US$ 900 million in forward vessel commitments, including 15 vessels to be delivered between 2010 and 2014 through various joint ventures.
