Agrium ends CF pursuit as CF, Terra finalise deal

AGRIUM SAID late Thursday that it was ending its pursuit of CF Industries and the election of its nominees to the CF board of directors and will allow its offer to expire at midnight, New York City time, March 22. The announcement came just hours before CF inked a definitive agreement for the purchase of Terra Industries (see lead story).
