K+S closes Morton Salt deal following FTC clearance

GERMAN POTASH and salt major K+S Aktiengesellschaft has completed the acquisition of Morton International, Inc. (Morton Salt), the biggest table salt business in the US and also is a leading producer of industrial and de-icing salt. The acquisition of Morton Salt has made the German company the world's largest salt producer.
