Brazilian 2009 fert deliveries on course to remain stable

LATEST ESTIMATES have confirmed Brazilian producers' previous forecasts that the country's fertilizer deliveries this year may be at the same level as in 2008, when they amounted to 22.4 million mt, a 9% drop in those of 2007. Market performance in 2009 to date has been affected negatively by lower demand and the need for producers to reduce the huge inventories they had at the beginning of the year.
