AN prices rebound as urea prices surge

Domestic AN and CAN activity in Ukraine continues at a healthy pace, and sales are generating returns equal to about $145/t fob for AN basis Black Sea loading. There is renewed interest from Turkish importers, and producers are now aiming for returns in line with those achievable on domestic sales. Black Sea producers claim sales concluded at $140-145/t fob, while Acron says to have secured similar returns in the Baltic. One Black Sea producer today claimed that a bid had been rejected at an even $150/t fob, but declined to comment on the identity of the buyer and the destination for the product.
