In welcome news for a UAN market that has been dormant at best over recent weeks, Abu Qir secured an improvement on its target in the July 20 sales tender for 20,000 mt 32% product. Initially seeking a minimum return of $150/mt FOB, the producer booked the full quantity with Trammo at $152/mt FOB. Trammo will be lifting 13,000 mt to Australia, with a freight estimated about $90/mt for East Coast discharge. The balance 7,000 mt will likely ship to France or Spain.
