Potash One seals takeover of Potash North

POTASH ONE has concluded its takeover of fellow Canadian junior Potash North, giving Potash One control of two subsurface potash permits in addition to its Legacy solution mining project. Under the terms of the deal, Potash North shareholders receive a 0.3125 share in Potash One for every share they own in Potash North, which now becomes a wholly owned subsidiary. Potash North was officially delisted at the close of business on April 16. A spokesman for Potash One told FERTILIZER WEEK: "We now have 10,000 shareholders, which is fantastic for a junior company."
