AN INTERNATIONAL company is undertaking a feasibility study for the extraction of uranium from phosphoric acid produced by Jordan Phosphates Mines Company (JPMC), a spokesperson for the Jordanian company confirmed to FERTILIZER WEEK. The study will identify the best technologies for uranium extraction from Jordanian phosphoric acid and the engineering design for the plant. It will also determine the total capital and operational costs of the facility.
