Abu Qir secures major improvement in UAN return

The market for UAN remains very firm. The September 20 Abu Qir sales tender for 15,000 mt UAN 32% reaffirmed the bullish outlook, with a purchase of 12,000 mt booked by Ameropa at $260.50/mt FOB, up substantially on the $247/mt FOB sale concluded via the producer's September 6 sales tender, also to Ameropa. Abu Qir tenders shortly for the sale of a further 5,000 mt for spot prompt loading.
