Coromandel & Murugappa in plans for overseas N unit

INDIAN FERTILIZER and pesticides producer Coromandel Fertilisers Limited (CFL) and the Murugappa Group, which owns a 64.25% stake in CFL, are in talks to set up an ammonia and urea plant outside of India. Murugappa's vice-chairman, Arunachalam Vellayan told FERTILIZER WEEK he was not in a position to divulge the country involved but indicated that it would be located in the geographical region of West Asia [which includes the Middle East and the Caucasia].
