India's import programme continues to draw the attention of both producers and traders. RCF's import enquiry for 275,000 mt of DAP held on February 27 has attracted offers from six bidders totalling 280,000 mt of DAP in a range of $424-550/mt CFR. However, the buyer has elected to scrap the tender, as an indicated buy idea of $350/mt CFR was promptly rejected given latest DAP purchases in India have been concluded at $398-410/mt CFR. In the meantime, MCFL has issued a new tender for the import of 30,000t of DAP for prompt shipment closing Friday, March 6. In mid February, MCFL booked a cargo of US DAP at $398/mt CFR Mangalore.
