Commencing October 23, 2009, LCH Clearnet will provide clearing services to the FIS fertilizer swaps market. This provides another dimension to trading in the chemical fertilizer market. FIS Ltd has already successfully established cash settled fertilizer swaps activity in worldwide markets. The introduction of LCH Clearing is in response to very substantial interest both from within the trade and a number of related markets, (energy, grains , biofuels).
