INDIA: IPL has indicated that shipments from all suppliers under the 2009/2010 contract at $460/mt CFR are scheduled to be completed by end-December. The importer has yet to make a decision on the optional quantities, which total 835,000 mt, mostly likely for shipment during the first quarter of 2010. Local sources have indicated that IPL would seek a price reduction on any optional tonnage.
