RUSSIA'S URALCHEM confirmed that revenues in 2008, under international financial reporting standards, rose by 174%, to $1.9 billion, but net profit stayed roughly the same at $91 million. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation increased by 230%, to $625 million; export sales totalled $1.49 billion, up from $471 million in 2007, and comprised 78% of all sales in the period.
