Tampa settled for April at $318/mt CFR

Yara has settled its Tampa contract with Mosaic for April at $318/mt CFR. The first Ukrainian tonnes of 2009 have been sold for loading out of Yuzhnyy. Trammo has bought a 15,000 mt cargo from OPZ to load on the Nijinsky, with the producer claiming a return of $250/mt FOB. Coupled with a sale by Nitrochem to Morocco's OCP yielding a netback in the mid $230s/mt FOB, the Black Sea price has moved up by $30/mt, although it still trails the AG by around $40/mt. At press time, FW understands that OPZ might have sold a further 15,000 mt at $285/mt FOB.
