The global potash market continues to limp along with no clear direction. The straight lines on the graph below tell the story. Market participants eagerly await a settlement in India. The unknown offer from IPC appears not to be the extreme lowball that some expected. Sources are indicating a figure close to $625/mt CFR, the previous contract price. There has been no official word from IPL or the Department of Fertilizers giving an expected time schedule for when an award might be announced.
