APC posts 51% fall in Q3 income

JORDAN'S ARAB Potash Company (APC) reported a 51% fall in net income in the third quarter of 2009, citing significantly lower sales volumes, the impact of which was partially offset by higher selling prices. The producer made JD 106.2 million ($150.9 million) in net income in the three months to September 30, down from JD 218.2 million in the same prior-year period.
