RUSSIAN FERTILIZER major EuroChem is constructing a zero discharge water utilisation system at its phosphate fertilizer production subsidiary, Belorechensk Mineral Chemical Company for completion in 2010. The aim of the project is to increase environmental safety at the operation, located in the Krasnodar region of Russia, and to stop the discharge of effluents from the production site into the town's rivers, EuroChem said in a recent statement.
