Boliden Q3 profits total SEK 684 million

BOLIDEN REPORTED net profits of SEK684 million ($96.9 million) on revenues of SEK6.96 billion in Q3 2009. This compares with losses of SEK135 million on revenues of SEK7.51 billion in Q3 2008. Operating profit totalled SEK949 million, compared with losses of SEK142 million in Q3 2008, resulting from higher prices and production rates, as well as favourable exchange rates. If the positive revaluation of process inventory were to be excluded, operating profit would total SEK734 million.
