STEVE SACKETT, the managing director of South African sulphur-based fertilizer and sulphuric acid manufacturer Chemical Initiatives, will resign from his position at the end of October 2009, after 33 years with the company. Sackett has stated his intention to remain in the chemical industry, but has not provided further details of his plans.
