Phosphate Holdings (the corporate parent of Mississippi Phosphates) saw earnings plunge to $104,000 for the second quarter ended June 30, a stark drop from the $35 million in net earnings reported for the second quarter of last year. MissPhos' loss for the first half of the year was $11.46 million, compared to earnings of $41.99 million for the first half of last year.
