Brazilian urea imports lower in January-February

Further to last week's price assessment for granular urea, importers now claim that lots off inbound carriers with Middle East qualtity product are available down to $295/mt CFR and suggest that one parcel was booked at that number. Brazilian imports of urea as identified by customs via GTIS in February 2015 of 252,200 mt were up by 46.2% on the 172,500 mt imported in February 2014. Qatar captured the February lead with deliveries of 91,000 mt, followed by Russia with 51,000 mt and Venezuela with 36,000 mt.
