Venezuela’s NPK imports jump in 2014

Venezuela imported 559,949 mt of NPKs between January and October 2014, a 64% increase on the same period in 2013 and higher than any full year figures on record, according to GTIS. Russian producers more than doubled their NPK shipments to the Latin American country; Venezuela imported 310,186 mt from Russian producers compared with 131,375 mt last year. The country also imported 125,235 mt from Poland’s Zaklady Chemiczne Police.
