Japan’s April exports of sulphuric acid declined 9.9% year on year to 213,739 mt, leaving exports for the first four months of the year down 5.8% at 926,166 mt. The Philippines remained the key destination for Japanese acid, taking 86,976 mt of the April tonnes. India was the next largest importer, taking 56,174 mt.
