Imports in the second quarter of 2.33 million mt were 72% ahead of the same period last year while the first half total of 3.58 million mt was by 56%. Shipments may ease in Q3 but full-year imports are expected to exceed 7 million mt, which suggests total deliveries will push 8 million mt , according to an estimate by CRU Fertilizers.
