The market remains quiet as the Noracid sulphuric acid plant continues to produce volumes. Spot requirements therefore are minimal. It is understood however, that Interacid is shipping 20,000 mt in August for a major buyer. The most recent spot business was concluded over a week previous at close to $165/mt CFR, which is below current levels, and demonstrates the reduced demand.
