INDIA: It is understood that PPL's tender for 100,000 mt for 2011 from Paradip, which closed February 16 was not awarded. Sources indicate the tender was issued to check the market and no cargo has been bought. PPL presently is securing acid from Hindalco, Sterlite as well as Mitsui and Mitsubishi.
