Chile exports up 12% in January

Chile’s SQM exported 121,324 mt of potash in January, a 12% increase year on year and the highest January exports on record, according to GTIS data. SQM sent 55,116 mt (45%) to Brazil, 40,355 mt (33%) to the US and 10,192 mt (8.4%) to South Africa. The company also sent tonnage under 10,000 mt to Uruguay, Malaysia, Taiwan and the Philippines.
