Japan’s sulphur exports were roughly unchanged in 2014, at 1.22 million mt compared with 1.23 million mt in 2013. The share attributed to different importers did not change much either. China continued to take the vast majority of sulphur from Japan, and was the destination of 1.02 million mt in 2014, down from 1.06 million mt the previous year.
