US ammonium nitrate suppliers generally predicted US AN imports would be down in the current fertilizer year, just as they had been during the 2014-2015 domestic fertilizer year due to the reduced willingness of US distributors and retailers to handle the product. However, at least for the first quarter of the US fertilizer year, US AN imports are moderately higher, according to the most recent information available from the US Department of Commerce.
