Further to the June 9 update regarding the possible 1% increase in the import tariff for fertilizers for 2015- 2016, news from Pakistan indicates that the government has elected not to include Agricultural inputs - including fertilizers - in the proposed tariff increase. The tax on imported urea will therefore remain unchanged at 1%.
