Global DAP prices flatten out as holidays approach

The resistance in the DAP market halting the recent rally seen through December/January, is becoming ever more evident heading towards the holiday seasons in Brazil and China. The global market has been extremely quiet this week with activity largely confined to the prevailing spring seasons in Europe, China and the US. Demand in all three has been steady although in Europe the weaker euro is starting to place real pressure on the price. Moroccan DAP is heard being offerd at lower levels than in January and hopes of any further significant price increase in northern Europe appear to be fading fast.
