Rostelecom Selects Infinera for Multi-Terabit Intelligent Transport Network in Russia

Infinera, a provider of Intelligent Transport Networks and Rostelecom, OJSC, the largest nationwide telecommunications operator in Russia, announced that they have initiated the deployment of the Infinera DTN-X platform based on 500 Gigabit per second (Gbps) coherent super-channel technology to extend the reach of Rostelecom's transport IP/MPLS network.
