Potash Corp: no plans to enter Russian auction

POTASH CORP is not planning to participate in the auctions for Russia's Verkhnekamskoye potash deposit to be held 11 March, a company spokesperson confirmed to FERTILIZER WEEK. At the Morgan Stanley Basic Materials Conference in New York held 20 February, Bill Doyle, Potash Corp's chief executive officer, said the investment conditions were not right [to participate] and he did not believe any foreign companies would be bidding.
