BPC settles with India's IPL; Silvinit may have hit snag

Uralkali has announced that BPC, its export trader and a 50% joint venture with Belaruskali, has signed an agreement with India's IPL, on the price and volume for the supply of potash in 2008-09. IPL has agreed to pay $625/t cfr, up $355/t from the last contract, set in June 2007.
