VIETNAM NATIONAL Chemical Corporation (Vinachem) expects to start production trials at its new DAP plant in the Dinh Vu Economic Zone 9-10km from the northern port city of Hai Phong in June of this year, the company said recently. China's Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corp (HQCEC), a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), is undertaking the engineering, procurement and construction for the new plant, which will have capacity to produce 330,000t/y of DAP.
