IN A decision that experts say could give "breathing space" to Russia's most inefficient fertilizer producers, the Russian government said it may delay its domestic gas price liberalisation programme by four years. Russian Economic Development and Trade deputy minister Andrei Klepach said plans to charge domestic consumers the same price for natural gas as foreign clients in Europe will not take effect until 2014 to 2015, later than an earlier 2011 deadline. He said the delay in increasing gas prices was designed to tackle inflation.
