Focus Ventures sees higher resource estimate for Bayovar 12

Canadian exploration company Focus Ventures has reported that the mineral resource estimate for its Bayovar 12 phosphate rock project near Piura in northern Peru has been expanded. The resource size increased substantially from the initial estimate, and the average P2O5 grade was also higher. The revised resource is based on slightly lower density measurements for wet and dry material than those used in the initial resource estimate. The resource includes 16 individual phosphate beds.
