India: Discussions on Q2 Jordanian rock prices to start mid April

Suppliers using formula-based contracts for phosphate rock pricing, based on the phosacid price, will be discussing new prices shortly with some increase expected. Price negotiations for Jordanian rock for April shipment onwards will begin in the 2nd half of April. The last round of negotiations took place in December with a price of $128/mt FOB Aqaba agreed for shipment of 73- 75% BPL grade rock up to and including March. For the 68-70% grade, a price of $118/mt FOB Aqaba was agreed. A marginal price increase is expected.
