DAP barges have sold at $420/st FOB New Orleans at midweek. Some sellers have raised offers to $430/st FOB, but that value has not been accepted in the marketplace. Forward bids for 2H April are around $415/st FOB for DAP but there do not appear to be any sellers at this stage at the lower price. The rise in DAP barge values this week is credited mostly to emerging inland demand supporting the higher replacement costs.
