Mitsubishi awarded construction contract for Uzbekistan Navoiazot ammonia plant

A new ammonia and carbamide complex project at Uzbekistan chemicals company Navoiazot is progressing with Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries awarded the construction tender. Both sides are currently discussing contract terms for the project that was first announced in 2014. Construction is expected to begin this year.
