Chinese DAP sold at $480/mt CFR for March/April delivery

CIL has purchased two new DAP cargoes from China of 35,000 mt each, believed to be Wengfu product, at $480/mt CFR . The first will be delivered in March and the second in April. This price is slighly lower than that agreed for the first tranche of cargoes from China, all at around $483/mt CFR. Wengfu is heard offering a third such DAP cargo into India at a similar price for end March/early April shipment. Wengfu did not ship into India last year, preferring to concentrate on other markets where better netbacks were generally acheived.
