Suppliers are holding out at $555-565/st FOB for spot ammonia sales, but much of the ammonia that will be applied in the next two-three weeks will be pre-paid ammonia from the summer and in some cases even product carried over from last spring. Nevertheless, despite falling price international prices, including lower values at the Tampa benchmark, suppliers anticipate substantial fall demand that will enable them to hold replacement costs roughly at current levels in coming weeks.
