China: AS prices under downwards pressure

Chinese caprolactam grade AS is still being offered by suppliers at $128-129/mt FOB with no new deals reported concluded. Sources in the country suggest that AS prices will correct downwards in the next week or so as a number of planned maintenance shutdowns at caprolactam plants come to an end, increasing the availability of AS in the market.
