Supply from the Black Sea port has tightened substantially, and a sale has been confirmed to Yara this week in a $445- 450/t fob range. Last week, Gorlovka sold a 10,000t cargo at $440/t fob. Supply is likely to remain tight with Gorlovka beginning the shutdown of one of its ammonia units for a scheduled 45-day turnaround, which had previously been booked for last month. The Ukrainian government has lowered the KIP for June to $400/t, down $20/t from the price for May.
