Mazepin challenges new Perm tolling scheme in court

JUST WEEKS before his Uralchem holding is scheduled to conduct its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange, Russian fertilizer magnate Dmitry Mazepin is again headed for the courts over control of the Perm Mineral Fertilizers plant. His investment vehicle, CI- Chemical Invest this week filed suit in the Perm Regional Arbitration Court, seeking to annul a new urea supply agreement signed by Perm and Gazprom subsidiary Sibur Mineral Fertilizer on 3 June. CIChemical Invest controls a 44% stake in Perm, which produces urea and ammonia.
